Is mumps the one that makes guys sterile as adults? Way to cause future therpy bills, parents!!
Generally, people who get it as kids are OK. It's guys who get it as adults (or at least teenagers) who are at risk of becoming sterile, and that's actually not as common as it was once thought.
sounds to me like they were trying to hurt her. I don't know any grandmother who wouldn't remember their grandchildren.
I can kind of picture my bad grandma doing this (though I don't know that she ever did). And it would have been 100 percent a slam at my mother.
Castle: OMG NO THEY DIDN'T! I'm cracking up. msbelle, must see!
And AGAIN with the
meta. Someone's a fan of his past work.
Hahahaha!
I should go to bed, but now I want to watch that.

I just remember the quote from M*A*S*H, "if you get it as a kid, you don't get it as an adult. If you get it as an adult, you don't get kids."
sarameg, that is asstastic.
Argued with my twin sister tonight. I'm apparently "too militant." In my political views and how I express them.
...
Bwhahahahahahaha!
I had been warned/hinted at. oh my. I really really do like the look. he's just so yummy.
Family rifts can be intense. DH has absolutely no contact with his maternal grandfather. Nor does his mom. Nor do any of her siblings at this point. He cut off the family after their mother died and he remarried. Forget about not knowing the names of his great grand children. He doesn't even know he has any.
Er, can someone post a link in Spoilers or email or something? I don't watch Castle, but I have a crazy mancrush on NF.
