Riley: Oh, yeah. Sorry 'bout last time. Heard I missed out on some fun. Xander: Oh yeah, fun was had. Also frolic, merriment and near-death hijinks.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

I could live without it, I tell you what.

Me too.

I had been hoping yesterday's marathon ER session would have a longer effect. But I have a mild headache already. Feels like I reacted to the hot chocolate. Don't want chocolate to be a trigger, dammit.

Ugh, ita. Maybe it was the milk in the hot chocolate?

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

How come some of my toenails are much thicker than others? I mean, it makes sense that the piggy who went to market has a thick toenail, but the piggy that stayed home has a relatively thin nail, and the piggy who had roast beef (on my left foot) has the thickest toenail of all.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I don't know the answer to that, but did you hear about some medical type who tried to popularize Latin names for each toe based on that rhyme? Good times.

Cats to become a rabbit should gather immediately now here

I do not know, but my little piggies who went wee wee wee all the way home hardly have any nail, and it is bothersome.

Me too, Sophia. There's no nail bed at all there.

Mine neither (assuming I've recently trimmed them).

Coding and Sleeping

Word is that Leif enjoyed his first day (they do it every Monday) in the gifted program, but is bummed that there's nobody else from his elementary school in it.

Why did Darth Vader cross the road? To get to the Dark Side!

I am home with the not-so-much-sick-as-recovering boy and trying to grade. After a morning of making Halloween decorations. I miss my husband. When is Wednesday?

I have officially become a bore, haven't I?

Cash, I don't think it's disrespectful to want others to limit their political spam to like minded folks. Esp if you don't spam them.

tommyrot, it could be nail fungus.

Oh honey, the mentally unwell people have been in the fanbase since Game Changers was Stucky fanfiction on the internet. The calls have been coming from inside the house the whole time!

In more "there ain't no justice" news, a co-worker and I worked late nights all last week and throughout the weekend to meet a deadline this morning, only to be informed just after I released all our work that the meeting we were working toward has been moved to Thursday. Note that our supervisor did ask about the timing multiple times last week, and was only told about the rescheduling after we'd completed the work.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

but is bummed that there's nobody else from his elementary school in it.

Once he invents Wonkavision he'll have lots of friends.
