I've got all 3 cats on the futon with me at once! OK, so Devi's not settling because the other 2 are hogging the beloved throw, but still!

I had a kitten on the back of my neck until I had to get up to do necessary things. She LOVES to sleep there. I sat and edited for almost an hour this afternoon with her draped over my shoulders.
mac is in my bed tonight and the cats were both climbing all over me searching for the most uncomfortable (for me) spots to lay down, so I escaped. I fully expect to return to find one of them on my pillow.grrr.
I'm not sure what California did to my boy, but he went off to bed before 8:30. And barely ate any dinner. I don't know who this kid is.
My mom claimed she was pinned to the bed and couldn't do the laundry because Silky came in to cuddle. My dad, equally a sucker, did the laundry.
My bed it musical cats at night. MK is there mostly and Devi and Loki take turns and sometimes it's even all 3.
We haven't had a cat for six years, since Puck died while I was pregnant with Sara. He liked to sleep with us, but at the end he tended to curl up off his own because he had a hard time jumping up on the bed.
Bella is sleeping in her cat taxi at night, because she's just too much to sleep with, this young. She eats your hair and bites your ass and peed down at the foot of the bed a couple times when we tried it.

Errr--what about Cortez?
Heh. MK used to try to steal my pillow and then kick me in the head when I tried to share it, but he's slowed down in years and I got more pillows. Loki is mostly just a problem attacking the "bed mice" in the morning. Devi bloodied my head more times than I can count, attacking my head, but luckily that phase has passed. She likes curling up against my hip now.
eta: but god help your ass if you fart around Loki.
Clio cuddles with me before bed, and jumps off just at the point where I am drifting into sleep. I think it's when I start snoring. Oz sleeps with me most nights, but often doesn't jump up until I fall asleep. Most mornings I don't know he's there until I throw blankets on him or accidentally kick him. I am learning to look for him as the first thing when I wake up. (Okay, second after hit the snooze.)
I have updated my iPod and now will feed the cats and go to bed. A weekend of doing very little still somehow has left me wiped out.
Errr--what about Cortez?
He sort of tolerates that we live in the house where he chose to take shelter, I think. He's very mellow, and he'll let you pet him and pick him up and all that, but he doesn't ever give affection anymore, not now that we feed him regularly. His life is outdoors, on the hunt ... until he needs to come in for food he doesn't have to kill and a warm place to curl up.
For those not in the know, Cortez was a stray who sort of moved in last year. He'd been neutered, and had obviously been someone's pet, and he just ... never left. And no one ever claimed him.
