Early: Where'd she go? Simon: I can't keep track of her when she's not incorporeally possessing a space ship. Don't look at me.

So come, my friends, be not afraid/We are so lightly here/It is in love that we are made; In love we disappear

Sarameg, the trick is you go to Nordies for the sizing, eBay for the bras.

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

I haven't paid less than $35 for a bra in over a decade.

Last time I bought bras, they were $80.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Most of my mother's side of the family is decently booby. I've just been the one to inherit my father's frame, so I have a smaller rib cage than most of them, which means that when we have the "my boobs aren't the biggest" debates I have to re-explain the cup-size-is-a-ratio thing every time. Some people. Even so, there are some racks up in that family tree...forget rib cages and ratios. Those are, as we used to call them in university, developing African nations.

I gave up on affordable bras a while back, and I've mostly given up on pretty bras. I don't think my breasts are that big, but they do misbehave and try to break free a lot.

I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

I can tell just looking that wouldn't work for me, based on the neckline.

Plei, I'll have to try that, though I've never ebayed (shipping issues, though that may have changed.) Or the russian bra ladies, though I've heard they aren't crazy Nordies pricy. Just crazy bossy.

These used to be perfect, but they don't carry my size anymore : [link] . These sorta work (I've got complaints about them), but again, I'm sizing out of them: [link]

Punishingly Intricate

Really only as wacoals work for me. I really need to check out the buying on eBay thing.

I don't even see my Wacoal at the Neiman Marcus site anymore. So next time I may be starting from scratch. I hope that's not soon.

The artist formerly associated with cupcakes.

This is SO TRUE.

Also, figleaves.com has a "house brand" with some very nice, comfortable, and reasonably-priced bras in large cup/small band sizes.

Plei took me thrift shopping! And for cupcakes! And left me with an awful earworm, but oh well.
