That's disturbing. You're emotionally scarred and will end up badly.

I must obey the inscrutable exhortations of my soul—Calvin and Hobbs

I woke up after ~7.5 hours of sleep to the sound of rain outside my window. Now I'm slounging on the couch noshing on pancakes and a Damn Fine Cup of Coffee. (Amyth has me rewatching Twin Peaks, as she's throwing a themed Halloween party next week.)

I like this sort of morning.

I'll also be doing some work today. All the content from my office website was ported to the new cms, but the architecture's changed a lot, so I'll be shoving pages and sections around for much of the afternoon. Eh, it's a rainy day, and it's mindless enough work that I can have something fun on the tv in the background.

information libertarian

I kept being woken up in the night by things (mostly pecans, I suspect, probably some small branches as it rained hard) falling on the roof. Makes me think hard about my dream of getting a metal roof when the pecans on the asphalt roof are this loud already!

I'm pretty sure I got more than 8 hours of sleep. Probably 9. still do not feel good.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

At least I've now done the work I've been avoiding for two weeks, so that's something. (Why I couldn't focus for a single hour like this at any point in my normal workdays is a mystery.) And it included emailing higher-ups, which I certainly don't mind doing over the weekend....

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

I'm at home being exhausted and pregnant while DH takes D to the children's museum. I think I'll catch up on Flash Forward on Hulu.

ita, we could so use you in NS, but I think you wold be frustrated by the molasses slowness and general stupidity of gov't. Not to mention the winters.

I slept in until 10. It would have bene later, but the cats were hungry. I have planned nothing for this weekend, so I can rest adn catch up on sleep. I don't know if I am still sick or it's sleep debt, but I have been feeling the way I did when I had mono...tired all the time and worn out by the littlest thing.

No mono vibes to sue.

Again the weekend trains are all frelled up for getting to karate AND it's raining. I swear, y'all.

It isn' cold though, which I guess is something. Someone should tell the woman on the train who is wearing earmuffs.

Someone told me yesterday that they were told by their doctor that you can't get mono after 35. I am skeptical.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Man, I was up too early this morning. But that's what I get for falling asleep in my living room with the new glowing door. To which I finally have a key! I can leave and come back like a normal person!

I need to find crock pot recipes. This cooking for lunch for the next day or two thing is for the birds.
