I don't like the hairy peel in my mouth. Really don't like. I have to rub down peaches with a damp towel before I can deal.
I've been driving for 2 decades. That always gives me pause. Oh and the ring I took in for repairs? Wearing it constantly for 2 decades. I've missed it a lot (feel like I went out of the house naked missed) these past 2 weeks. But I can pick it up this weekend!

And me (no goggles): [link]
There's no way I could bite straight into a kiwi. Bleh!
I finally packed my glasses -- scary! Not sure why it was scary, but they got into the box with bubble wrap and none breaking, and I actually don't care if any break en route...
I still have a box of glasses to UNpack. It'll be 6 months this sunday.
I've been rereading the Little Prince (in english, I have it in French and Spanish and muddle through periodically) because of the quote in the program of the funeral last weekend, that was so apt:
"In one of the stars I shall be living. In one of them I shall be laughing. And so it will be as if all the stars were laughing, when you look at the sky at night . . . You--only you--will have stars that can laugh!"
Stupid story makes me cry.
eta: especially the next part, which explains
"And when your sorrow is comforted (time soothes all sorrows) you will be content that you have known me. You will always be my friend. You will want to laugh with me. And you will sometimes open your window, so, for that pleasure . . . And your friends will be properly astonished to see you laughing as you look up at the sky! Then you will say to them, 'Yes, the stars always make me laugh!' And they will think you are crazy. It will be a very shabby trick that I shall have played on you . . ."
javachik- HALP, they want me to call the local office!!!
No way. Is it Comcast? Are you on livechat?
ETA: I am shutting down and leaving the office; can't wait to see how it all works out!
I too was miffed about the lack of Snacky's Law as I just saw it in action recently in an online writer's group when somebody got a bad review in the NYTimes and there was a big burst of Snackyisms about Michiko Kakutuni and Maureen Dowd. The mean popular girls of the New York Times.
I did a little research. I can get internet, phone, and direct tv for half of what comcast is charging me. that's going to be a fun conversation.
yeah, that's what I told them too, Vortex, but they want me to call the local office for bundle price because we just reduced last year (which ran out this month.)
SOmething may be working out though.
