"Cry havoc and let slip the boobs of war!" -- Miracleman

I hoping to at least get him to open his mouth for the dentist. Working on a proper bribe.

Halloween candy. IJS.

You were a wrong baby who grew up wrong. The wrong kind of wrong. It's better you hear it from a friend.

I clarified that for DH--he was still laboring under the assumption that winged pterasaurs were all called "pterodactyls."

Actually, they are. Pterosaur is the proper name of the order, but pterodactyl is a common term for them too. There is a specific genus called pterodactylus too, which includes the first pterosaur specimens discovered.

(Incidentally, I once worked out what a dactylogram was during a trivia contest by running it through pterodactyl.)

Ok, we may not be able to outrun a lion or a hyena, but there are at least three of us, and I think we could take out Billytea... Just saying. :P

...Ok, I've just become fascinated by the question of exactly how much trouble I'd get in if I responded with "now, now, that's just the hormones talking".

Intelligent design would rock. Let's face it evolution is all about good enough, like a lazy contractor. Things will get better when we're a race of cyborgs.

No, no, evolution is extremely demanding. It just can't always get the parts.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

Yes or no: having to leave for work while it is still mostly dark is worse than having to get up before the sun.

This is Tino's fault isn't it?

Fricking Tino.

Punishingly Intricate

Leaving work when it's dark is the worst for me. Don't mind getting up in darkness.

We're very stretchy. - Connie Neil

So, do we have a consensus that this is the slogan for today?

I haven't trusted science since I saw the film "Flubber."

I literally put on three different outfits this morning. I had tights angst. And then shoes angst.

We won’t stop until everyone is gay.

ita keeps posting seemingly innocent links

Dude, 'tis ita. Caveat clicky.

My earworm buster for years has been the soundtrack to OMWF. It usually works by the time I get to "They GOT... the MUSTARD... OUT!!!!"

I literally put on three different outfits this morning. I had tights angst. And then shoes angst.

Yeah, I had trouble, too. Thirty degree temperature variance + office work and dirty work = flummoxed me.
