Heading to Columbus(Ohio) tomorrow after work for OVFF. (Ohio Valley Filk Festival, a filk con) This one's going to be a bit weird for me, as Gary won't be able to go. (Major work commitment that starts on Saturday, and boy is he unhappy about it.) I haven't been to a filk con without him since we started dating. (Actually, the only cons I've been to without him in the last 10 years have been mystery cons)

My car now has new shoes. And the snow is still falling.

And I have to head over to pick up Isaac right now. So tired.
So part of my new afterwork ritual is to go run the basement sink until the water runs clear, go upstairs, run the tub, run the sink, remove the faucet screen, clean out accumulated crap in screen, flush toilet several times, remove pump valve, clean out pump valve, replace... don't run any hot water until those are all done. I'm going to be so glad when they finish the water main replacement and hope it doesn't trash my water heater.
