“Not dead yet!”

I can wander around singing "Don't Stop Believin'" and "Somebody to Love" (GLEE versions, natch) at the top of my lungs.

I'm rather tuneful right now, if I do say so myself...

(Translation: erika, you rock. The rest of you, if I could get you ponies and sparkly vampires to do your bidding, I would. Well, the ponies, at least. Sparkly vampires, NSM.)

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

The fatigue strikes me as being a really dumb move on evolution's part. Hey, lets make the people responsible for the continuation of the species too tired and nauseated to run from any predators for three months! Intelligent design my ASS.

I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

Is that connected with the Big Brother oxy drug bust mentioned yesterday in Reality? sounds similar.

Art Crawl!!!

Maybe it is. Yes, it does seem like an awfully big coincidence.

The baby just kicked me!!! I was sleeping and something woke me up. As I was struggling to wake and figure out why I felt like someone had poked me, it happened again and my fuzzy brain went, "Oh, wow, someone DID poke me!" Coolest. Thing. Ever!!! My books told me it was about time that I start feeling this, but this is the first time and it was so amazing!

I immediately texted BF, and he texted back, "Maybe the baby wants you to read the book again!" So it was another round of Goodnight Goon. :)

Great big hugs to Jess, I feel your pain! Hang in there for a couple more weeks!

Also nodding like a lunatic at Glamcookie - on the way to my last OB appointment, Cyndi Lauper's Time After Time came on the radio and I started bawling. I was crying so hard that it made me laugh at myself until I was laughing so hard I had to pee. Hormones are so freaking weird.

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

As someone who is giving a workshop on cancer pharmacology tomorrow, I would like to punch Suzanne Sommers in the face.

I must obey the inscrutable exhortations of my soul—Calvin and Hobbs

I've invented a new desert. After the weekend s'mores-fest I had chocolate and graham crackers left over (and marshmallows, but I don't like those outside of the s'mores context). I also had a banana I needed to use. So I cut the banana up and laid the pieces on some graham crackers, put squares of chocolate on top, and put the whole thing in the microwave for ~40 seconds so the chocolate got all nice and runny. Delicious! Not sure what to call it, though.
