Kaylee: You're nice, too. Mal: No, I'm not. I'm a mean old man.

I would be one of its minions if it did my dishes.

"What kind of magical sunshine and lollipop world do you live in? Because you need to be medicated."-SFist

Our Buffista teachers may find this study interesting:

I'm not sure who could have thought that "errorless learning" would work as a teaching method, but the UCLA study reminds me of the time that my Dad put an unsolvable geometry problem on our final exam just "to see how we would approach it".

I guess they are right about remembering things better and longer because I still remember how pissed I was that I wasted 30 minutes on that problem.

Oh honey, the mentally unwell people have been in the fanbase since Game Changers was Stucky fanfiction on the internet. The calls have been coming from inside the house the whole time!

Joss to direct an episode of Glee: [link]

If Spike takes over this show too as a result, I am going ballistic.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

the UCLA study reminds me of the time that my Dad put an unsolvable geometry problem on our final exam just "to see how we would approach it".

My dad once offered me $100 if I could come up with a 19 point cribbage hand. When I pointed out to him that this was impossible, he congratulated me on my close reading of the fine print but did not give me the cash anyway. Cheapskate.

Hmm, cribbage was also the only game my Dad would play with us. Coincidence?

OMG, that video made me weep. Unrelatedly, Casper told me this morning, "Drunk is when you're all crazy."

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

On its own, this priceless minimart security footage of a clearly inebriated man trying to buy more beer (POSTED BELOW) is pretty hilarious. Whoever added the old-timey music and silent film captions just put the icing on the cake. Whether you love old Chaplin films or just enjoy observing the belligerently wasted, this video will make anyone laugh.

When they showed that video on the news the other day they noted that it was taken at 11 am on a Tuesday.

Coding and Sleeping

Leif and I played Scrabble Sunday morning in a grueling hour long match. He's pretty good at it, he starting playing when he was four.

Two of my projects got awards (yay) and they made me be the one to go on stage to get them. And my shirt is all wrinkly and untucked.
