Be glad she's agreeable to it! My parents have a longhaired (wispy cottonfluffyspiderwebby fur) who hates to have you pull out the burrs or comb out knots....and of course she's always getting both. They've gotten ...faster.

I am working on not being angry at mac. it would be a bit ridic since he hasn't acted up today, but he did leave ALL of his homework to do at home. ugh. so I told him that was UNacceptable and then I explained what the consequences would be if he had another night like last night. The DS will go away forever! I was calm and I did not yell. I explained that getting angry and acting up more makes things worse and he has got to start understanding that.
tommyrot, I am so glad kitty was found relatively unscathed (thistles notwithstanding).
Calm, consistent and clear is probably an excellent route. Hard to do, but good.
My calves are killing me. I've been working on kicking better and I think this is the price. But I am getting faster!

Hang in there msbelle.
OMG, my proofer thinks you can't split an infinitive or end a sentence with a preposition. So she keeps wanting to change things like "What do you want to talk about?" to "About what do you want to talk?".
Oh, I'm so glad you found your cat and nearby, tommy.
msbelle, what sarameg said.
thanks guys.

That, of course, is the kind of thing up with which you should not put.
