I must obey the inscrutable exhortations of my soul—Calvin and Hobbs

Thanks for the birthday wishes, y'all! I've reached the age of the ultimate question. We'll see if anything comes to mind.

And now I'm off to celebrate by going to a meeting. Whee!

Because books.

I woke up with Maxwell's Silver Hammer in my head.

Happy happy birthday to Burrell and Calli, with cake!

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Bah. My cat got out last night, and I only discovered it this morning. Looked around the area behind my building (she got out the back door) this morning but didn't see her. I talked to the building maintenance guy (who lives in the building) and he's going to keep an eye out for her.

We won’t stop until everyone is gay.

Oh, tommyrot, no! I hope you find her soon.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Oh no!

Coding and Sleeping

Happy Birthday Burrell and Calli!

I hope your cat turns up soon tommyrot.

This weekend was more house painting. I did some trim and the garage doors while my FIL brought over his paint sprayer to help. We made some good progress. Doing some trim was nice, it gave us a good idea what it will look like when we're done.

Leif had his last soccer game of the season. He had a good game and scored two of his team's goals and they won 8-2. It was a nice way to end the season, but I sort of felt sorry for the other team. Leif's team ended up 7-1 for the season. Emaryn's team still has two games to go.

I’m responsible for my own happiness? I can’t even be responsible for my own breakfast! (Bojack Horseman)

Back at work after a two week vacation.

Me too, and I am not happy about it.

Happy birthdays, Burrell and Calli!

Yikes, tommyrot, I hope she shows back up soon.

"I keep to a strict diet of ill-advised enthusiasm and heartfelt regret." Leigh Bardugo

Back at work after an incredibly stressful two days. My head still hurts and not in a good way.

Because my mom is here and we don't have an extra car anymore, it's a little complicated. I rode my bike to school (which I really should do every day. Really.) schlepping my laptop and everything else. I'm spending the day in the library which is good and bad.

I'm just really exhausted and run down and October STILL isn't over. It used to be that August was a bad month for me. Then September was for years. Now it seems to be October.

I have to go to the hospital for my TB test tomorrow (yay!) and my flu shot (yay?). All good times.

“Not dead yet!”

Happy Birthdays Calli and Burrell!

tommy, hope your kitty shows back up soon.

And msbelle, I don't know how you do it, but I admire the hell out of the fact that you haven't wound up in a clock tower somewhere. Much strength and ~ma for getting through the day.
