I broke my backup ring. Damnit. I have no idea where my other rings are. In boxes somewhere. I've got a thread of rough garnets on my finger because I really feel wrong without something on that finger.
I take 'em off to go swim and I notice it the whole time.
eta: the thread just broke. I guess I'm only supposed to wear the in-repair ring on that finger.

I just need my garnet ring back. Which I've worn for 2 decades. And to not clean house, apparently. I'm not superstitious by nature, but this is certainly playing with my head.

Will I ever get used to the random TONGS as the radiators cool (or heat up)? I'm a little jumpy to loud noises anyway, and I keep waking up the cats. (Who sleep through it.)
