Well some friends of Buffy played a funny joke and they took her stuff and now she wants us to help get it back from her friends who sleep all day and have no tans.

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

Balloon kid found alive. Was hiding in the house, afraid he was going to get in trouble!

It's as happy an ending as I could have wanted.

Our wings are not tired.

I am glad he's safe, but his family is WHACK.

"I keep to a strict diet of ill-advised enthusiasm and heartfelt regret." Leigh Bardugo

Seriously glad he's safe. Agreed about the whack family.

Oh MAN. I cannot find some of the docs on this computer that have my basics, like what we did last year for tragedy. Here's to hoping it's on the other computer.

Fandom means never having to say "But where would I wear that?"

Timelies all!

Meh. Tired of this weather.

this mess was yours / now your mess is mine

Man, those black jack taco ads are making me want to go buy one, and I don't even like Taco Bell.

The one that starts "Black boots," with just a shot of those shiny black stiletto boots? Yeah, The Boy is a vegetarian, and yet he was halfway out the door before the commercial was over.

I had to point out that the tacos (1) were not served by women wearing those boots, and/or (2) didn't come with those boots like a Happy Meal toy.

“Not dead yet!”

I had to point out that the tacos (1) were not served by women wearing those boots, and/or (2) didn't come with those boots like a Happy Meal toy.

BWAH!!

ETA: Because now I'm imagining a Buffista-run fast food place...

The rumble/hum of the furnace is going to take some getting used to. It's partly (mostly) because I am freaked out by the whole radiator thing, but also? It's loud (which I knew.) But it was under 65 upstairs and just no. Checkout call won't probably happen until next week. It was serviced as a part of the closing so probably doesn't need anything but to be bled.

Still, freaky.

Today was ugly like I expected, but is looking up.

I have a funeral Saturday. Feel like I really should go.

I totally need to get a cast iron kettle to keep on a radiator, don't I?

Oh honey, the mentally unwell people have been in the fanbase since Game Changers was Stucky fanfiction on the internet. The calls have been coming from inside the house the whole time!

I had to point out that the tacos (1) were not served by women wearing those boots, and/or (2) didn't come with those boots like a Happy Meal toy.

Yeah, my urge to run out and buy some was pretty much dissipated by the realization that PT wouldn't be serving them up and available for me to jump after the meal.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.
