I kind of wish they did keep track
Our library does not keep track*, but the patrons can choose to have the database keep track of what they've checked out. (This list would then become subject to the Patriot Act provisions.)
- we do know who the last person to check something out was, and that information could sit there for years if no one else checks out the volume

That actually may be possible here, really -- what I really need is the person checking me out to tell me! Or maybe pay more attention to what I read....

simple transfer of titles from stop you're killing me to a spreadsheet that you could cross reference by author, series, or character.
That would take a really long time, and still not really help me in the stacks. I will not have the spreadsheet with me at the library!
right. I pretty much only get books via reserving them online ahead of time now. faster and less hassle with mac.
