I want this shirt: Science Is A Verb Now Shirt
Pay no attention to the cat sciencing through space. She was sciencing where she wasn't supposed to science and it is our hope that in the end her sciencing will help further the cause of science.
The print on this shirt GLOWS IN THE DARK.
This is one pretty pigeon....
The Victoria Crowned – The Largest Pigeon in the World
Possibly the most beautiful pigeon too, the Victoria Crowned is not at all what you might expect when used to the hordes that haunt our towns and cities. Thanks to the Dodo becoming defunct, these turkey sized blue niceys are the largest pigeon on the planet. They have a rather odd secret too. Birds don’t produce milk to feed their young, right? Well, these do! Unfortunately, these birds seem to be dying out in the wild for several reasons. The facts that they 1. aren’t afraid of people and 2. taste good do not bode well for their survival.
If billytea is still around - who would win in a fight between a Satanic leaf-tailed gecko and a Jesus lizard?
Oh my....
Reaver Bait: Spaceship Serenity Costume [Cosplay]
It’s no Death Star costume, but this Serenity costume–parading everyone’s favorite Firefly-class spaceship through DragonCon–is no less ingenious.
Reaver Bait: Spaceship Serenity Costume [Cosplay]
That would be a friend of mine (and amyth's and Calli's). FYI, the ship's engines light up and it has detachable shuttles.
She and her sister have also created a giant Jayne hat, Kaylee's dress, and giant Hands of Blue (one of which doubled as a Michael Jackson glove in a mass Thriller dance at Dragoncon this year.
I'll see if I can find links.
a Satanic leaf-tailed gecko and a Jesus lizard
The gecko would convince everyone to bet on it, then throw the fight because it bet on the Jesus lizard.
Here's Jayne's hat: [link]

smonster, those are great! Hee. I love the giant Jayne hat, as I now roll my eyes at the million Jayne hats I see at cons. At least that version is clever.
Radical Militant Librarian tee
Just ran into a Norwegian librarian at Internet Librarian International in London wearing this killer tee-shirt, created in protest of the PATRIOT Act's provision to force librarians to reveal which books their patrons were checking out. The Latin translates as "We know what you read, and we're not saying."
