Jayne: What're you gonna tell the others? Mal: About what? Jayne: About why I'm dead. Mal: Hadn't thought about it. Jayne: Make something up. Don't tell 'em what I did.

the hardest to learn / was the least complicated

What's the last thing that made you smile unexpectedly?

My co-worker just uttered the phrase "Smoking a fattie with the Pres."

Cats to become a rabbit should gather immediately now here

Goodness! There is nothing like a work emergency which is my own fault that gets my blood pumping!

I've got great gaping holes in the ground outside my basement.

I'm having a very surreal day (and not just because of the above. It's been a surreal month. No, make that 5 months. )

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

Yeah, no. You swapped those children out at some point.

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

Welcome home sara & Dana! And yay for gaping holes that will later be lovely (and safe) decks!

So wrong that time has passed that way, but Gud's TCBITW is a lovely young lady-to-be.

Smile: my house! The nice thing about periodically leaving your awesome new house is that you get to come back to your awesome new house and be all, "Hey, house! You are still awesome!"

"Cry havoc and let slip the boobs of war!" -- Miracleman

Unexpected smile - when I was over at my brother's watching my nephew suck on my brother's upper lip.

BTW, nephew's two week checkup had him weighing in at 11 lbs, 11 oz. Aren't babies supposed to lose weight after they're born?

Most babies lose a little, but they want you back up to birth weight by a week or so. Dillo was 8lbs 10oz at birth and 11lbs 15 oz at a month...

Because books.

Abby is AWESOME. Sara already received some lovely hand-me-downs from her, including a Bitty Baby who is very well-loved.

Casper is about to be six, and unfortunately likes her dolls plastic and with boobs.

Sara's the same, but when we went to Ren Faire we got a faceless cloth doll with a plain pink dress, and she LOVES her. Carries her around, has named her Isabella, reads to her ... I don't know what happened, but it was love at first sight. She might like Groovy Girls, actually. I sure do.
