Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

I went to a bar with a nun.

What happened to the Rabbi and the duck?

Lunch update: I'm having "Traditional Lentil soup" by Healthy Choice. It's... not very good.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I think we all should plan on clubbing in our 80s, Buffistas!

Absolutely! One night this summer, I was hanging out with a friend and her 70-ish dad -- we went to a concert, but he totally thought we were lame not wanting to hit the clubs after!

oh joy! Oh Rapture ! I have a brain!

Sadly, I have not found any of the Healthy Choice soups very good.

I made hot and sour soup for JZ last night. My big epiphany about hot and sour soup is you just need to add fresh lemon juice and some hot sauce to make it hot and sour. I was emulating her favorite Vietnamese soup so it had: tofu, onions, tomatoes, pineapple, garlic, red bell pepper and noodles. Vegetarian stock, natch. You wouldn't think the pineapple would work, but it does.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

"They sent me the wrong paint. It was painted this color accidentally."

Heh.

eta: If I bought that house, I'd trim the windows with glitter.

“Not dead yet!”

It's most assuredly pink.

It wouldn't be out of place in Miami.

The neighborhood where the pink house is landmarked. You couldn't paint your house pink in Park Slope now, but this house was grandfathered. The new owner will have the option of keeping the house pink, or restoring the brownstone.
