Why, it works! I have internet! Through dangers untold and hardships unnumbered, I have fought my way here to the castle beyond the Goblin City to take back the connection to the outside world that bureaucracy-and-moving-and-mess-and-mostly-bureaucracy have stolen.

Woke up sweating in the middle of the night to realize I had a hot water bottle -- in the shape of a furry cat -- nestled up against my back. I realize it's getting colder at night, but I wish they'd hold off with the affection until the temp is at least down into the 20s.

I have a space heater, and now have it pointed straight at my legs and up my skirt, but I'm supposed to be at another desk right now.
