Lorne: Take care of yourself and ah, make sure fluffy is getting enough love. Gunn: Did he have anything? Fred: No. And who's fluffy? Are you fluffy? Gunn: He called me fluffy? Fred: He said make sure…wait. You don't think he was referring to anything of mine that's fluffy, do you? Because that would just be inappropriate.

"You can't put a price on the joy of not giving a shit." -Zenkitty

In spite of large stretches of utter laziness, I have kinda kicked ass this weekend. I started working on my finances, did dishes, several loads of laundry, thoroughly cleaned the bathroom, answered email, upgraded the software on a website while only breaking it once, made updates to at least 4 other sites, cooked a vat of pasta, watched some TV, lifted weights, did some software testing, and went to brunch.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

My kitchen is now about as packed as my living room, which is to say: kinda. I decided fuck it, I need to paint my nails.

I had a lot of those moments.

Can I just say, I am missing my ring? My hand feels naked without it. 2 weeks...

I haven't trusted science since I saw the film "Flubber."

Cake is done and frosted. And eated. It's not perfect, but it will do just fine for home consumption.

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

Mmm, cake.

My plan to make cookies did not come to fruition. Because I fell asleep instead.

What'd you send it out for, sara?

Last weekend I mashed it badly somehow while cleaning, and when I gently tried to straighten it, (dumb) a garnet popped out. I've worn that ring everyday for probably two decades.

Yikes.

I can still see the mark on my finger from wearing it all the time. I may see if I have any old costume rings to wear in the meantime, it just feels and looks weird.
