And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

My problem with heels isn't the balance issues, it's that my feet will blister if you look at them funny. I have yet to encounter the pair of good-looking shoes that will not cut my feet to ribbons if given half a chance.

“Not dead yet!”

I have yet to encounter the pair of good-looking shoes that will not cut my feet to ribbons if given half a chance.

Oddly, this was me with most flats. They'd rub the backs of my heels and my pinky toes absolutely raw. And it was stupid to wear flats with stockings. So I got in the habit of either wearing sneakers, boots, or heels. Go figure.

Cats to become a rabbit should gather immediately now here

My issue is neither the walking nor the cutting, it is the intense pain. I have wide toes and narrow heels and my feet foll in and wow do heels hurt. Actually, so do a lot of flats. I do best in Dansko type shoes, or heels with a very wide toe box.

Our wings are not tired.

This was me until I met the Camper shoes store in Barcelona and blew my budget by buying three pairs. Finally, cute shoes that don't look orthopedic that don't give me blisters. I mean, I love my Merrils, but I get really tired of trying to make fancy skirts work with them.

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

Damn it. My dishwasher is leaking. Guess I need to call my landlord.

We won’t stop until everyone is gay.

I love Campers, though I have never owned a pair. I tend to wear "commuting shoes" and then change to heels at work. I'm about to buy a pair of sweet flat boots that I'm praying will be super comfy.

Here they are: [link]

Ooooh, what kind of boots? Pics?

I lust after boots but could only get ugly ones bought through widewidths.com to work on my super big calfs. I hope to remedy it soon. I really love the look of boots with skirts during Fall.

So come, my friends, be not afraid/We are so lightly here/It is in love that we are made; In love we disappear

Plei, thanks for helping my soon-to-be-Seattle friend out! That was very cool, and she really appreciated it. Although she has come to the conclusion that life is expensive.

Yay! It is, but I'll let her know the sneaky places where life is cheaper (aside from renting costs).

javachik, scroll up.

Miz Mooz has tons of styles I love but this will be the first pair I've actually bought.

I shall scroll. I already probably looked at the link and went "how cute!" and already my gnat-sized memory has forsaken me.
