"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

Luckily, JZ is a kind soul and didn't mock me as much as she could have.

What about me? I'm full of mockery and I didn't even take the bait.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

I figured you were trying to set a good example for the kids, so I took your mocking as given. (and deserved)

Because books.

Emily, it might be easier to convert the CD track to MP3. What kind of file is it?

And I could probably find whatever music that is as an MP3 file... but then will I be able to play those files on an ordinary CD player? I have been fooled before.

Amy - Oct 10, 2009 12:10:09 pm PDT #13281 of 30001
Because books.

I'm pretty sure I've saved CD tracks to my computer and burned them along with MP3s onto disc.

If the CD player will play writable discs, I don't think it should be a problem?

Why did Darth Vader cross the road? To get to the Dark Side!

Oh Perkins, I've been there before. Both times I was pregnant my ability to parallel park went to shit once I hit about 7 months and could no longer twist to look over my shoulder without bumping into my own belly.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I like that ita is making these judgements.

I'm sorry, at what point have I been showing attraction to weirdos?

I think I've done it and not been able to play the MP3s on a regular CD player. Though I could be wrong.
