I was lying in bed this morning, listening to the radio, when I heard about the announcement. it woke me up because I was all "WTF? Am I dreaming?"
I think I'm still at Um, WHAT?
I can hear the sellers/designers screaming now as I probably rip out the brand new granite/marble counters they put in. I hate the new stuff.
I love new kitchens, but I also like a balance, especially if it's in a distinctively vintage house. Nothing makes me twitch more than an exquisite vintage house that looks like an industrial loft on the inside. One of the houses we looked at in Seattle is a classic Mid-century Modern (1961, I think) but the kitchen had last been redone in the mid-80s and seriously looked it. That's one I'd love to go into and redo with the new appliances that have the retro exteriors.
Hey, do Muni buses and streetcars take dollar bills?
or I could watch that movie
You'll be unsurprised to know I own a copy.
Double Feature!
and...
Hey, do Muni buses and streetcars take dollar bills?
Yes, they do. But you still need to get change inside the stations.
I love new appliances, but I've seen too many "luxury" apartments showing off brand-new kitchens that look like they've been lifted straight out of the IKEA catalog.
Hey, do Muni buses and streetcars take dollar bills?
Oh, it's not a streetcar, it's a METRO. Appaaaaarently.
Damn, megan is not here for me to roll my eyes at her.
