Yay, Steph! It's certainly not a milestone I'll hit in the foreseeable future.
.until you realize that everything is edible. Then you wonder how they did that....
The gear cake would not be particularly difficult, just tremendously time consuming. All the parts are fondant, which is a lot like modeling clay. You'd just roll out the fondant, cut out the gears and stick them on. There are edible metallic paints. I can't think of an occasion to make a steampunk cake. It would be fun, in a masochistic, sugar-rush way.
If you hate cats and you happen to be on LSD, you probably shouldn't watch this....
::puts down blotter::
Why are you looking at me?
I can't think of an occasion to make a steampunk cake.
We should have one at the next F2F.
I am 100% totally completely absolutely DEBT FREE!!!!!
Congratulations! I achieved that once, briefly, and hope to see such a situation again. But it will probably be a bit longer.
Still, you should totally celebrate. Maybe with a steampunk cake of some sort?

I love both steampunk AND cake -- that's the ideal celebration!
Actually, I feel really lousy -- headachey, exhausted, and stuffy-headed. I think I'ma take a nap. Because I can.

That's great!! And unlike Obama's Nobel Prize, fills me with zero trepidation.

Then you will be sleep-debt-free as well.
Jesse, do you need boxes and/or packing materials?
Jesse, do you need boxes and/or packing materials?
I would not say no to either of those things, although the plan for tonight is to hit more stores for boxes and tape. (I'll pay for the tape.)
