Mal: Yeah, well, just be careful. We cheated Badger out of good money to buy that frippery, and you're supposed to make me look respectable. Kaylee: Yes, sir, Captain Tightpants.

Well, take with a bit of a grain of salt. Keep in mind, my trash can keeps getting stolen. And someone killed a robber with a samuri sword...

Heh. Good point.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

someone killed a robber with a samuri sword

Is it bad that the first thing I thought when I read about that was, hmm, a REAL samurai sword.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I guess if I don't hate liver pate I might not hate liverwurst. I just don't like the cut liver.

It must be better when it's magic Turkish Delight.

Liverwurst is indeed made of liver, but it's a much milder flavor than straight liver. It's one of those things like chocolate syrup that every grocery store puts somewhere different. Usually it's in the vicinity of either hot dogs or cold cuts.

I took a liverwurst sandwich for lunch pretty much every day of high school. The closest I ever came to belonging in high school was in the group of us who camped out in empty classrooms with our sandwiches rather than eat them in the cafeteria, where we were supposed to be. It's still my favorite sandwich next to a BLT when tomatoes are in season.
