All sorrows can be borne if you put them into a story. Tell me a story.

I have butternut squash enchiladas in the oven

Recipe please!

I have a recipe for pumpkin cupcakes, and one for Mexican chocolate cupcakes.

These sound good too!

I haven't trusted science since I saw the film "Flubber."

I have a shepherd's pie in the oven. It is also not cupcakes.

I just heard a commercial on the radio with someone talking about how eating Lender's Bagels reminds him of his family's visit to "the old country."

My friend used to call them "Lender's Christian Bagels"

I'm getting chills everytime they play a clip of Mercedes Sosa's Gracias a la Vida.

I'm having a chile lime chicken burger patty with guac. And salad.

Swam a mile! On a weeknight! Had to stop once, but I attribute that to needing to eat. Still quite pleased. Takes me 35 minutes or so, without stopping. I think. I apparently have issues with math when exercising. Either that or the clock is hard to read through goggles. I love how this feels.

hip deep in pie

I have a shepherd's pie in the oven.

Mmmm.

It seems I don't have the ingredients for cupcakes, but I do have the ingredients for chocolate chip cookies.

this mess was yours / now your mess is mine

I have butternut squash enchiladas in the oven

It's this one, from Vegetarian Times: [link] I don't cook the butternut squash the way the recipe says (peel, chunk, and boil); it's much easier to cut it in half and roast it in the oven and then eviscerate it. They are SO yummy.

I have nothing in the oven. I guess dinner will be leftover crab cakes unless I get off my ass and make chicken orzo soup.

Want.

Go, sarameg!

I, er, napped for a couple hours there by accident. Oops?

I have vegan butternut squash soup...with carrots and kale and quinoa and stuff. Got it from a local health juice store place. I also have "Liver Cleanse" juice (which involves beet, apple, lemon, ginger, and aloe juice). It's very beet and gingery.
