tommy, you've got me seriously considering buying one of those Dutch bikes. My main objection to bike riding is the discomfort of the seats, and being canted forward on my arms. I could ride to the park... nice thought.
Natter 64: Yes, we still need you
Off-topic discussion. Wanna talk about corsets, duct tape, or physics? This is the place. Detailed discussion of any current-season TV must be whitefonted.
Tom, Jess, or other NYers: On Friday around 6pm, I need to get from JFK to downtown Brooklyn, right near Jay Street-Boro Hall. It looks like taking the A will only be an hour or so total, but is this one of those only-if-the-trains-are-running-properly (and they never are) scenarios?
Saints game is on national TV! Woot!
Not here, dammit. We're getting DirectTV on Tuesday, though, for just this reason.
Maybe we're getting it here because Seattle played (and lost) in the earlier game.
Is it on Fox? They're showing SF, now, Oakland was this morning. There's always local football on, it seems.
CBS. I think you have too many local teams.

Yeah, you sit pretty much upright on a Dutch bike. Very comfy, plus drivers can see you better. You should test-ride one to see how you like it.
Now I need red flashy LEDs for night riding....

Grr, then they could be showing it but are not. CBS has America's Invisible Children some onfomercial about hairgrowth on, instead.
HELL, YEAH! GEAUX SAINTS!
(That was just for Kathy.)
The subway is usually pretty consistent during rush-hour, megan. (except when they're not). Unless the A train is seriously frelled, it shouldn't be more than 45 minutes.
