And you're sure this isn't just some fanboy thing? 'Cause I've fought more than a couple pimply, overweight vamps that called themselves Lestat.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

See, I didn't make the connection at the time that Steerpike was Slade from Velvet Goldmine....

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

Well, it was pretty easy to mistake him for Toni Collette's reflection in that movie.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

Speaking of amazing things, I was in megan walker's neighborhood yesterday poking around at Kayo Books.

I walked by the restaurant Fly - which is on her block - and they were having Happy Hour all day, including half off on their little gourmet 10 inch pizzas. So I got a Pisco Sour ($5) and an extremely delicious white pie for $4.50. I mean, this pizza would've been a great deal at $9, but it was a steal at that price. Very thin, perfect crust, mozza, gorgonzola and carmelized onions. (No red sauce, of course.)

I bought an extra one to go to feed JZ.

Also, this morning the omelets came out especially well. The key being the lots and lots of butter I cooked them in. Feta and Italian herbs.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

Are you counting that final running scene in Bend It Like Beckham?

Hahaha - exactly my thoughts.

I'll have to see if I can convert my videotape of "Who Am I This Time" to a computer file so I can load it to YouTube, just to demonstrate a sexy Christopher Walken from 27 years ago.

Also, I had a HUGE crush on Crispin Glover back in the 80s (River's Edge!). He's freaky deaky, but I still think he's pretty hot.

Or, you know, look it up on YouTube. (The clip is there, but YouTube just went offline.)

The only thing I could find on YouTube was a bad-quality version of the trailer. I was thinking of the end of the film, when he proposes to Susan Sarandon using the dialogue from "The Importance of Being Ernest." They are so cute together!

this mess was yours / now your mess is mine

in motion? A lot of his appeal, for me, is when he's animated

Ahahahahaha!!!!!

Also, Crispin Glover will never NOT be Dad McFly to me. So -- not sexy. Not with that laugh.
