Wait, is this real-world child support, where the money goes to buy food for the kids, or MRA fantasyland child support where the women just buy Ferraris and cocaine? -Jessica

Do you think these people become aroused when they dance around the book BBQ?

Yeah, guess where else it's raining? Newark.

My internal clock just hit 10PM, and I've been up since 4:30. My connection to Salt Lake City will probably be just late enough for me to miss my connection home, which is the last flight of the day, and was going to get me home after 24 hours of travel.

"What kind of magical sunshine and lollipop world do you live in? Because you need to be medicated."-SFist

I have now read too many stories of people who have to have multiple treatments going on for monthe because the exterminators they used did not know what they were doing.

Make sure you insist on someone good. I know that when I moved into the place with fleas, my landlord didn't really believe me, and so the first treatment was half-assed and had to be repeated.

ION, am I wrong to think that if we are asked to create an individual market development plan as part of our end-of-year review, and a colleague was basically just going to adapt mine to her project, that she should ask (or at least tell me)?

EEP Dana, stuck overnight in Salt Lake is probably not on your list of wants.

megan - how did she get yours to adapt?

I am going to try to insist on the exterminator I want, but my fear is that they say that if they are paying they get to choose. I WILL insist that I get to talk to the extermintor, that is for sure, if they refuse that then I will refuse entrance to my place and hire the guy I want.

I'm sure my boss said that mine was good and gave it to her as model. Note: my plan was actually adapted to be Marketing's larger plan for my project, so, it's out there. I'm happy people apparently like my work, it just would have been nice to be asked/told.

And it's annoying because my boss does sh*t like that all the time (not just to me but authors too).

And I'm the one that's unprofessional.

Oh look, a good, old-fashioned book-burnin!

From the linked CNN Article, the book burnin people say: "All the books in the young-adult zone that deal with homosexuality are gay-affirming. That's not balance," she said.

I have a rule about this. When making a statement like this, replace the name of the group with 'Jew' or 'Black' and see how it sounds.

Ah, Fleet Week.

There are several large Navy and Coast Guard vessels slowly sailing past our building (it's on the Seattle waterfront - literally, I'm about 100 feet from Puget Sound). I wish I had a camera.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.
