Zoe: First rule of battle, little one. Don't ever let 'em know where you are. Mal: Whoo-hoo! I'm right here! I'm right here! You want some of me? Yeah, you do! Come on! Come on! Aaah! Whoo-hoo! Zoe: Of course, there are other schools of thought...

I'm sad that Chicago didn't make it. I'd pick Rio. Barcelona was too recent.

I just remember how unsafe Rio supposedly was when I was there ten years ago (outside a few select areas). If that's less true now, I think it would be a good choice.

ION, I really should get to work...

We won’t stop until everyone is gay.

What are people doing this weekend?

Making KBD watch Twin Peaks and going to see Corb Lund. Yay Corb (and Kurt and Brady and Grant)!

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

This weekend, work in garden, clean house, go to see the Fab Faux play (these guys [link] ), who should ROCK THE HOUSE and also I hope to hit the matinee of Whip It.

They got a good laugh but man, I'm living with Mr. Obvious and it's sometimes embarrassing.

Roughly a half century later, my mother still relives the embarrassment of the time toddler me said loudly, "That man sure is fat."

Now let us crush something soft and watch it fountain blood. That is a girlish thing to want to do, yes?

Weekend: tournament, friends' Sukkah party, hopefully some time to actually recover from week of stress and hell and misery.
