OK, apparently I can now swim 1200m crawl and not be sore, but I added 100m breast and wow, muscles in new places making themselves known.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

Well, played, Ms. ita. Well played.

Cats to become a rabbit should gather immediately now here

I really think he has them somewhere! At least I am in my house. I have no idea what I will do for tomorrow if they are not found, as I have to be at my regular ob at 7:30 am and won't get out of theatre until 1 pm. I doubt my landlord will leave me keys under the mat.

ita!!! I'm SO HAPPY for you.

I took Noah to Back to School Night. It's really hard to do Back to School crap and wrangle a two year old at the same.

I really want to take Monday off next week, but I can't and won't.

Kat, I miss posting with you. I don't really have as much time here to post anymore, except stolen moments to bitch.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Gorgeous Delta IV Heavy launch photo

Taken with a sound-activated camera, positioned waaaayyyy too close for a human. The caption says the launch would probably destroy the camera's lens.

A very impressive photo of this very large rocket....

eta: Note from the photographer:

The particular setup for this was sound activated. The lens was destroyed (worth it of course) but the camera survived this one despite being severed from its ratchet straps and thrown to the ground, and the sound device used for this one disconnected from the camera and thrown about 200 feet backwards into the pad perimeter fence (still worked!). All settings are preset manually. No one is allowed closer than several miles from a launch.

I like the idea of exclamation pints. I shall raise one in ita's honor!

And in predictable news - Noah never stops talking.

t eta oh! and thanks all for the birthday wishes a few weeks back! I've been swamped since coming back from two weeks of camping, so am not really caught up.

I miss posting with you too, sarameg! My life is pretty SWAMPED and October looks to be all no good and very busy. But it is time for me to poke about thanksgiving.

Ohh, Noah's so cute and so smart, getting the concept of "inside" and "outside" like that!
