oh, by me. no big stores where there are things of interest for him, he can't deal and ends up having a fit. First was Target 2 weeks ago, then he repeated in a B&N this past weekend, so I said no more for 1 month.

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.
When in stores, my dad used to pick tile squares on the floor, widely separated, and make the three of us us sit on them, and then make sure we didn't move off of them while my mom shopped. Of course, that won't work for msbelle, as she doesn't have someone to stand guard.
