I was right, it was Improv Anywhere that invaded my neighborhood yesterday
There are some great stories in the comments on that blog entry.
I gotta say, I love working from home. If I had to do it on a regular basis, I would need to get a more office-type set-up with 2 monitors, but even so I like it.
Sometime way back in the last century, in those mythical days known as The Seventies, my family and I were on the Atlantic City Boardwalk, and we bought one of those invisible dogs, and I walked it down the boardwalk. The starts of surprise were wonderful. A couple of people stared real hard, trying to make sure, and they jumped when I moved the "dog" towards them.
Good times.
I just called my mom to wish her happy birthday (it's her 70th today!), and she was busy hanging flowers with some of her fellow garden club members. However, she told me she wants to call me back both to talk about her b-day and to tell me some "really good news."
Way to keep me hanging, Mom!! I'm hoping it'll be good health news (one of her brothers has had a recurrence of prostate cancer that might have spread into his bones).
Cute picture of kids petting an invisible dog: [link]
I swear, Improv Everywhere does more for quality of life than anyone.
Seriously.
