You like ships. You don't seem to be looking at the destinations. What you care about is the ships, and mine's the nicest.

Always Anti-fascist!

Enjoying the books and movies I got for my birthday that finally got here. Several of them might be liked by Buffistas including "Ruling the World as A Smartmouthed Goddess" and an essay book about Gilmore Girls called "Coffee at Luke's" that Jennifer Crusie edited.

I must obey the inscrutable exhortations of my soul—Calvin and Hobbs

Thanks for the artichoke suggestions, y'all. I usually have the marinated ones, which is why I was thinking they were salty/tangy. The white lasagna sounds delicious.

And my review was postponed for an hour. Possibly so they can round up security to kick me out for lazing about on the interwebs too much. Or maybe just to ratchet up my bp another few points.

So tonight I'm either celebrating or mourning. Tune in around 2:30 . . .

And thanks for the ~ma!

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

What a terrible end to what sounds like a great evening, Scrappy! Booo!

We're very stretchy. - Connie Neil

Frank, last week's Eureka ep was the season finale. I'm guessing the next season doesn't start until next summer.

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

Hope your review goes well, Calli!

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

Well, aside from the blisters, the walk was not terrible. Hollywood Blvd at 11:00pm is a fun streetscape to walk through. The $$ sucks, but, eh, what can you do? My poor DH felt TERRIBLE about it. I pointed out that in the 15 years I have known him, this is the first time we have ever had anything like this happen, which was really good odds.

But it appears to be a Bollywood Sense and Sensibility starring Aishwarya Rai, so it should be good times.

I have an enormous crush on Aishwarya Rai, and I love everything Austen, so odds are good that I'll enjoy it.

Colbert watchers: I just called 888-OOPS-JEW, and it was hilarious! A+, would call again.

"Cry havoc and let slip the boobs of war!" -- Miracleman

Tonight, HH with a friend I haven't seen in yonks (not my fault that he keeps leaving town on the weekends to run in marathons and whatnot). Tomorrow, I have to take my dad's car to get inspected (as if my mother is ever going to drive), theatre, then maybe Fame, and then packing for my trip to New Orleans (work) Sunday, on a plane. Will probably grab a muffaletta for lunch when I get there ;) then off to a recruitment fair when I get to smile and pimp the university.
