Natter 64: Yes, we still need you
Off-topic discussion. Wanna talk about corsets, duct tape, or physics? This is the place. Detailed discussion of any current-season TV must be whitefonted.
THAT'S NOT A MUFFALETTA.
This weekend will involve another sushi fest. We've been buying bits of salmon and crab mixtures and such to try. I think we're going to need more nori.
I do a white lasagna like this too - spinach, mushrooms, artichokes, chicken, in a white cheese sauce. Nom nom nom.
Ooo. Source of recipe?
THAT'S NOT A MUFFALETTA.
Shhh, Dana. I'm going to NO next week, and I will have a muffaletta just for you. WITH EXTRA OLIVE SALAD. Central Grocery, bitches!
What are people doing this weekend?
Working on my cancer pharmacology workshop, going to my friend's housewarming party, possibly meeting a TWoPer, doing my AMWA conference homework, and eating waffles and turkey and playing Beatles: Rock Band.
I *think* it's this one.
I played around with the proportion of milk and cream in the sauce, and instead of layering the spinach separately, I incorporated it into the cheese sauce (so there were layers of basically creamed spinach in there). I think that's most of what I changed. Unless there was other stuff.
What are people doing this weekend?
Going to Maine tomorrow (I've taken Monday off).
Maybe a movie tonight. Dinner out definitely. Oh, and the Dollhouse premiere.
I asked over in Boxed Set, but it's been overlooked - is Eureka on hiatus again? I seem to recall that's the case (and my DVR has no episode listed).
I have birthday parties tonight and tomorrow, and then I have to clean my house. I just have to say, I hate late Friday plans. I'm tired and want to go to bed!
Thanks, Jessica.
This weekend I'm hanging out with KBD, and I'm going to make him watch a favorite movie of mine. Haven't decided among What's Up Doc, Imagine Me and You, Playing By Heart, or Beautiful Thing. He's not gonna like any of 'em, but I don't care.
Sunday I'm going to a birthday party for my friend's 1 yo daughter, and then maybe church.
