Back in the late 90s, I spent fall break in Boston. My parents were all OMG, stay OUT OF ROXBURY! (dad worked for Harvard later 60s/early 70s.) Of course, I ended up in Roxbury and didn't see the fuss.
You guys. I just realized. I need to buy Halloween candy! I live in a neighborhood with kids! I'm gonna have door knockers! Eeeeee!
My friend R. lives in Dorchestah, and it's a nice neighborhood. It apparently gets a little sketchy if you go more than a few blocks in some directions.
Thanks for the salary perspectives. I'm collecting all sorts of information because 5 of us are collectively going to the Big Boss to talk about our deteriorating work situation and I want to be as prepared as possible on all fronts.
Needless to say, the next couple of days should be very interesting.

I think the "always lived at home" thing would be a bit of a red flag for me. Where does he have sex?
I really liked McAdams in
Wedding Crashers
and that's exactly the sort of movie that encourages disposable women, and she wasn't. And her pictures (when she's brunette) always seem warm and charming. I will probably next see her in
Sherlock Holmes.
I'm an incredibly huge Bana fan. He gives me the shivers, that man.

him in
The Hulk...
I think the "always lived at home" thing would be a bit of a red flag for me. Where does he have sex?
The same place his parents do?
Having dated someone living at home (and it was an issue but not for the reasons one might think), it doesn't have to be a negative, but it should be a red flag that is considered and discussed.
The same place his parents do?
In their bed? That ain't right.
Place meaning house, not spot.

Ewwww....now I have an icky mental picture.

I did it for my previous job and I think they're pretty accurate for my situation.
I inferred that he doesn't bring women to his place while his parents are there.
Ewwww....now I have an icky mental picture.
Sorry, I've had a rough day. Turns out storming the castle requires a lot of mental energy, not to mention planning.
