"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

I saw this yesterday and I've been wondering how in the world it's legally enforceable. Unless maybe the Savages just thought it was morally the right thing to do.

It sounds like a mix, but the article did say the priest and the hospital's reproductive endocrinologists told them they would have to give the baby to its biological parents. Personally, I'd regard carrying a baby to term as the defining element of who the legitimate parent is prior to birth, as an extension of my belief in adoption custody cases that the people who put in the effort regarding raising the child have top claim.

Electromagnetic candy! - Stark

Someone at work is giving away all his DVDs he hates. I just got "Van Helsing" for free. Overpriced, if you ask me.

But it DOES have Dracula pacing around upside down on the ceiling complaining about his lack of emotional depth - "I am HOLLLLOWWWWWWW!" - and then hysterically laughing AND crying at the same time. (And Faramir as a hunchbacked monk who swears and gets the girl.)

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Oh, Happy Fall for all you Northern Hemisphere folks. Autumnal Equinox happened at 2:19 board time....

Our wings are not tired.

Happy Fall indeed. It is 6:30pm and still 85F with 75% humidity. I'm over summer. The weather guys were promising that it would dip below 80 overnight every day this week. We'll see. So thankful for A/C. Of course, in a month I'll be in love with the weather again.
