Hey, don't worry about it. Nest full of vampires, you come get me, okay. Box full of puppies, that's more of a judgement call.

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

Gitmo's an urban legend?

Never fall in love with somebody you actually love.

Well, what went on there used to be. Until it turned out to be horrifically true.

"It didn't taste good. It tasted soooo horrible. It tasted like....a vodka martini." - Matilda

But I wonder if he would. We don't know a lot about Alpha, but his gripe seems to be about how the Dollhouse treated him. Would he do the same thing?

Maybe there's no there there. He'd probably not have any qualms if there's no way for her original personality to come back. Also, considering the blood and the screaming, I don't know how many qualms he has.

All sorrows can be borne if you put them into a story. Tell me a story.

Incidentally, doesn't it seem like if you know someone can remotely wipe all your products that it would be a good time to pull everyone in from the field and reassess your options before blithely sending them out again?

Echo probably didn't take a cell phone to the cult compound so it hasn't been an issue yet (with her - don't know about other actives).

And do they not realize Echo's face has been on TV now?

I know. Seriously? Her handler walks directly toward the cameras? But I guess that was necessary plotwise for Paul to see her.

Didn't she get seen when they were moving from building to building? The handler carrying came later, I think.

Oh, right. So the handler carrying in front of the cameras was completely unnecessary. All it did was make the AIC look like more of an ass. The handler should've been skulking off in the shadows.

aka "The artist formerly known as Corwood Industries."

I had to pause the episode until I figured out who the convenience store owner was.

He was on The Daily Show for a while. Can't remember his name, though.

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

Would he do the same thing? Obviously, we don't have enough information.

It's an interesting question. We know very little about his motives & intents. Clearly he's not thrilled with the Dollhouse, but what is his endgame? Killing a bunch of the dolls does...what? Relieves them of their status? He must not think that it's possible to redeem them, or he'd be trying to free them from their indenture, right? And he doesn't kill Echo because...why? He sees something in her? He thinks she could kick his ass?

It's like seeing the damage and fear from reavers and not the reavers themselves. It's just lizard brain reactions, there's no way to parse what he's doing. Yet.

Anyway, the point is, I think it's conceivable that he would imprint someone else himself, but perhaps it's unlikely that Mellie would be what he would use that technology for if he had the capability. It's interesting because he's set up in an interesting dichotomy for the viewer perspective.

On the one hand, we're clearly supposed to think he's a monster; he slaughtered defenseless people and wounded others including a character we're supposed to like. But on the other hand, he's lashing out at an organization that we're (presumably) not supposed to like. There's a lot of ground where we are likely to be expected to empathize with his plight.
