Well, look who just popped open a fresh can of venom.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

Aw, sad.

What is even happening?

It is sad. Still, it is only the respect my mother beat into me as a small child, that left me able to not headline the article, "Joss Whedon's Daddy Issues Die."

(Sorry. No. Really I am. I do think this is sad, but that doesn't shut off my brain.)

Compassionately intolerant

My brain is Cindy's brain, in this regard. Same exact response...with all due respect.

Thank you Beej, for not leaving me wasting away again in Loathsomeville, alone.

We won’t stop until everyone is gay.

I didn't have that exact thought, but I was unsurprised that the public statements were not coming from Joss.

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

For once I didn't have the same thought as you Cindy, but I will admit I laughed when I read it.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

"Joss Whedon's Daddy Issues Die."

That's exactly where I went! I thought of Wesley pumping bullets into his RoboDad.

A turkey in every toilet -- only in America!

Cindy -- In your obit, you say that Tom Whedon helped create Big Bird & Cookie Monster. The actual quote from THR is

He and Jon Stone, who went on to develop such Sesame Street characters as Cookie Monster and Big Bird at CTW, collaborated with Jim Henson on a 1969 ABC special, Hey Cinderella!

This could easily be parsed to mean that only Jon Stone "went on to develop..." Do you know for certain that TW was involved?

All sorrows can be borne if you put them into a story. Tell me a story.

Captain Kangaroo and The Electric Company were staples of my youth.

No, Jon B. I would have to re-research my sources. I certainly could be wrong.
