I believe there are supposed to be two other wives before Tony's mother.

Nana korobi, ya oki. (Fall down seven times, stand up eight.) ~Yuzuru Hanyu/Japanese proverb

I never realized that. Do you know, is that something they cover in older comics, Matt?

I believe there are supposed to be two other wives before Tony's mother.

So, basically Howard was, what, 60? when Tony was born. Not impossible, but it makes me wonder why Howard waited so long to have kids...

I had read that written about their marriage, but looking though various online entries on the characters I can't find anything about previous wives. Maybe the info I found was in error?

Yeah, I really wanted a "maybe next Friday?" at the end of that scene with Souza

Or even just a "Raincheck?", to indicate that it wasn't a blowoff.

Friends don't let friends read "Atlas Shrugged"

I found it ironic that, in Agent Carter, right after the Russian was saying "focus" there was an ad for the new will Smith movie, "Focus".

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

I figure that was all part of the plot to get me to watch that movie.

They're going to need a better mesmerist to get me to pay money for another Will Smith movie.
