Friends don't let friends read "Atlas Shrugged"

There seem to be more mini-series coming on ... which I like. They seem to have stopped for a while, but I like having something that has a plot with a definite end. Or maybe it's just me - I tend to drop out when series go on with a plot bunny that's more like the Energizer bunny and just keep going and going.

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

The showrunners are open to a full second season, though, so this could become a Korra situation.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

I think I would prefer it as a midseason replacement every year.

As a general TV thought, I'd also prefer shows that have staged finite endings, serial mini-series, if you will. Less filler, more focus. Tell your first story. Get cancelled, you've done your job. Get renewed, get another focused story. Win/win, in my book.

brillig

If they were renewed, it would be fun if investigators remarked in passing on the dreaded Soviet operative, the Winter Soldier.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

NYC still has a few women's boarding houses, and men are still only allowed on the first floor:

Cats to become a rabbit should gather immediately now here

For one thing, she's a waitress at an automat! They aren't supposed to have waitresses, are they? I thought that was the point.

This was making me crazy!!!! Was it an Automat for desserts only?

hip deep in pie

My university residence in the late 80s-90s, was woman only and men had to be signed in after 6, and out by 11. It's now co-ed.

I know not of automats, but it struck me as an amalgam of a diner and an automat. The waitress was totally about to deliver eggs to the douche. And there were definitely not two different locations. The only diner I saw was the one that Peggy was meeting Jarvis at multiple times with their backs to each other.

Danger is my middle name, only I spell it R. u. t. h. - Tina Belcher.

I just watched both episodes. One thing that I had a question about, the scenes where Peggy and Steve were talking while he was getting ready to crash the plane...it's been awhile since I've seen Cap 1, were those lifted straight out? or was there some new stuff there?
