I do hope they get Dichen Lachman back for flashbacks because otherwise that was a waste of a great actress.
Nice twist regarding Skye's dad's real motivations for working with Whitehall.
Glad to see that Ward is working through his issues. Also glad to see that Ward is irredeemably evil.
Right? Maybe there's no redemption arc after all, and the show's decided to just let us follow a villain now. Should be fun.
My guess is Skye will have the same immunity as her mother and Whitehall will find out and want to use her for it and her dad and Ward will have to team up to save her. I was kind of disappointed they killed Ward's parents off screen. After hearing about how evil the mother was I wanted to see them interact.

Oooo, being rescued by two people she considers monsters. Interesting.
edit: Was Dad able to pick up the obelisk? I don't remember.
There are still a big swath of people who believe Ward has a separate plan that's... maybe, pro-SHIELD? Which I don't buy. I mean, at this point, I think any interpretation of Ward as "a good guy buried under all the emotional trauma" has sailed. There is no coming back from the kind of shit he pulled. And I enjoy him so much more as a villain anyway.
If he is to have any change of heart/moments of atonement, I think it'll have to be right before they kill him off. Given how obsessed he is with Skye, I can sort of see him doing that to save her. I find his obsession with Skye uber-creepy, but there are a ton of people out there who ship these two. Which makes my brain go screeeeeeccchh, but I guess that is rather hypocritical since I used to ship Spike/Buffy pretty hard back in the day.
Those time-lapse shots of Reinhart/Whitehall in his cell were very cool. This stood out, because AoS is usually not a very visually inventive show. And anything and everything to do with Crazy Kyle MacLaughlan made me chortle with joy -- he is such a delightfully loose cannon. They've lucked out with some awesome recurring guest stars this season.

"What are we talking about? Tesseract-level power?"
"Sure. I don't know what that is."

Oh snap that makes perfect sense.

Yes, that was fascinating to watch. I wanted to have it recorded so I could replay it and watch the changes.
Ward killing his family is kind of hard to dismiss. I don't care how evil they all were. And he taped his brother's confession, he was planning that all along. He's a cold, psychotic bastard. Heck, Dad may approve him being interested in his little girl--or gut him.
And get Enver on the show while they're at it.
He's going to be on Agent Carter, I think I just read.

A world of yes. He is so much fun.
The worthiness angle is reminding me heavily of meow-meow.
I'm skipping past the posting since I haven't watching this week yet because I had a worlds crossing moment today. Apparently Agent C's (purposely not listing the actor's name for search engine reasons) daughter is a student at my school. Saw him today dropping her off and had one of the only star struck moments I've had in a long time. Not going to lie; kind of wanted to run up and ask if he was undercover.
Gleeble! Was he wearing glasses?
