Anya: It's lovely! I wish it was mine! Oh like you weren't all thinking the same thing. Giles: I'm fairly certain I wasn't.

Yay, we're back up just in time for me to watch and post with the laptop I just set up in the living room like a big geek.

Huh, Agent Carter's going to be an 8-part limited run.

GS: If you had to choose between kicking evil in the head or the behind, which would you choose, and why? Minsc: I'm not sure I understand the question. I have two feet, do I not? You do not take a small plate when the feast of evil welcomes seconds.

I thought we knew that already? That it was a mini-series, not a full one?

As for the episode, I liked it quite a bit, though I wish the scenes weren't so dang dark all the time. The only thing that bothered me was Talbot's change of heart. We didn't see anything in-episode to cause it.

Also, as soon as Coulson handed Ward off to nameless lackies, I knew he was going to escape.

ETA: I did like Ward thinking he was earning his way back on to the team and Coulson telling him he was out of his mind.

Yeah, I think that was always the plan, to have it fill in during AoS's hiatus. Although, I'm hoping if it does well enough they will bring it back for the same purpose next season.

Also, as soon as Coulson handed Ward off to nameless lackies, I knew he was going to escape.

Yes, TCG looked at me and said, "this is where he escapes".

The only thing that bothered me was Talbot's change of heart.

It did seem a little rushed, and I'm hoping he is not completely on SHIELD's side yet, and maybe he just realized they didn't do this one thing?

I miss the days of Coulson having all the toys he wants at his command.

I like it better now. Too many toys and too many allies, and it eventually just looks too easy.

I'm curious as to which Ward brother is the bigger psychopath.

"Cry havoc and let slip the boobs of war!" -- Miracleman

Also, as soon as Coulson handed Ward off to nameless lackies, I knew he was going to escape.

I was really irritated by this. I mean, he's the fucking superspy, your best and brightest, and you have random lackeys transporting him? With regular cuffs?

They should have just drugged his food and knocked him out and he would have woken up in the Senator's basement. Good news is that it was the General's people, so they can't blame SHIELD.

The way they focused on the cuffs, it seemed very significant.

And obvious. At one point, wasn't he in a full body chain? Why did they take it off? Why did they take the hood off?

Joss, I expect better from you! At least a throwaway line about how Coulson wanted them to take more precautions. That "don't give him an inch" bit was not sufficient.
