Ah, yes, of course. The gypsies, they gave you your soul. The gypsies are filthy people. Ptui! We shall speak of them no more.

when i die, please bake my ashes into a brick and use me to hit fascists.

she was willing to pay $500 for a pair of flats.

....which actually bothered me quite a bit, because she's always wearing heeled boots.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

....which actually bothered me quite a bit, because she's always wearing heeled boots.

Walking in motorcycle boots and walking in pumps are two very different thing, though. (One of them I can do. The other one I cannot.)

[eta: And, more importantly, fighting in boots vs pumps]

A dress should be tight enough to show you're a woman but loose enough to flee from zombies. — Ginger

My heeled boots are WAY more comfortable than stilettos. The heels are always stacked, and usually about 3". [link]

(It says the heels are 3 1/2" but I don't think so.

And my other boots have traction and maybe a 1/2" heel? [link]

I KNOW I could fight in the latter pair, and damn sure I could fight in the first pair better than any heels I have, or wedge heels, for that matter.

All sorrows can be borne if you put them into a story. Tell me a story.

Ming Na as Not May had the dress a little more wrapped, showing less cleavage, than Ming Na as May did. That could have just been for fighting purposes, but it certainly worked as a character detail.

"We are the Goon Squad and we're coming to town...Beep! Beep!" - David Bowie, "Fashion"

Really really good episode here. And props to who called who the she-demon ex was going to turn out to be. I like her already.

GS: If you had to choose between kicking evil in the head or the behind, which would you choose, and why? Minsc: I'm not sure I understand the question. I have two feet, do I not? You do not take a small plate when the feast of evil welcomes seconds.

I liked that episode a lot. And Mockingbird was all kinds of awesome. (And is apparently Hunter's ex in the MCU instead of Hawkeye's. I imagine the latter would have limited story-telling potential.) I love that he's been telling all these horror stories and when she finally shows up, everyone is like "What's your problem? She's awesome!"

brillig

Poor Raina, she really did not expect ruthless Coulson who was already three steps ahead of her. I wonder what they'll do to her now.

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

I knew Adrianne Palicki was talented but she was practically unrecognizable here, especially in Evil Mode! Loved the reveal that she was Hunter's ex, and I look forward to seeing more of her, and Gemma's big honking girlcrush on her.

Skye's dad IS A MONSTER!!! And teaming up with Whitehall cannot lead to anything good.

I know Skye has always been the specialest snowflake and I'm not down on her like most people but her BE HONEST WITH ME COMPLETELY DIRECTOR COULSON irritated me a bit. No one else asks for that much special treatment, geez.
