You know, I just... I woke up, and I looked in the mirror, and I thought, hey, what's with all the sin? I need to change. I'm... I'm dirty. I'm, I'm bad with the... sex and the envy and that, that loud music us kids listen to nowadays.

Remember that the frontier of the Rebellion is everywhere. And even the smallest act of insurrection pushes our lines forward.

Didn't Skye find his body?

Yes, she did.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

I did love Simmons' answer, but I am mildly confused that they all answered what they want to be in the box when the question was what is in the box. Surely the obvious answer is sand.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Surely the obvious answer is sand.

I am trying to visualise the tester's face in response to you.

Why would there be a box of sand?

When I picture a deserted island, there's sand. So if there's a box, it'll have sand in it.

Possibly I am not cut out for SHIELD.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

I'm not good at questions like that. I'd want to know, Why is there a box on a deserted island? What kind of box? Is it buried or just sitting there? How long has it been there? How can I guess what's in the box without this information?

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

If I was going to be logical about it, rather than being wishy, I'd assume the box came from somewhere and had been carrying something, or was going to carry something away from the beach. Sand is really low on the list of things people generally take to or from beaches. I'd pick empty first (maybe toss in a hermit crab), but really, if the island is deserted, who put the sand in the box? It's either flotsam or jetsam, and then the world's your oyster again.

edit: Zenkitty, they're giving you the power to decide. If you can't assume that power, maybe you're not in SHIELD?

I haven't even watched the episode yet, so I don't know how i would answer the question that was actually asked! I'm happy to assume power, but even so, I don't think I'm cut out for SHIELD.

My assumption is that an empty box will have sand in it, because it's on a beach.

Then it's not empty.

Also, does your box have a lid? Mine has a good lid, so that water can't get to the powered up sat phone.
