Danger is my middle name, only I spell it R. u. t. h. - Tina Belcher.

Calli: My people have a saying. A man who trusts can never be betrayed, only mistaken.Avon: Life expectancy among your people must be extremely short.

My unspoiled thought upon finally catching up: Ward really is an unbrainwashed Hydra agent. But he going to repent and betray Hydra and rejoin the team. I really hope I'm wrong. But that is how I read his expression at the end. Not someone who was brainwashed. Someone who really regrets his choice.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

I had a thought last night that maybe Skye's mysterious 084 power is the ability to enthrall people, and that maybe the reason her village died was that they were fighting each other to the death over her.

I think my subconscious really wants this show to take the Mary Sue trope and burn it to the ground. (Because otherwise Ward repenting his evil HYDRA ways for love of Skye is just annoying.)

We are Buffistas. This isn't our first apocalypse. -- Pix

I think my subconscious really wants this show to take the Mary Sue trope and burn it to the ground

Indeed, that would be awesome.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

I think my subconscious really wants this show to take the Mary Sue trope and burn it to the ground

My conscious wants this!

(my subconscious just wants everyone to be happy and stop fighting)

(my subconscious is a bad writer)

Friends don't let friends read "Atlas Shrugged"

I'd be perfectly to see Agent May demonstrating her awesome fighting skills.

It occurred to me ... brainwashing Ward ... is there really that much to wash?

brillig

It's a point in his favor when evil masterminds are looking for likely targets. "What about Ward? Good ROI, there, we wouldn't have to expend too many resources to brainwash him. Heck, just a brain rinse should do it."

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Compassionately intolerant

is there really that much to wash?

CerebroFebreze.

Snerk.

I still have a funny feeling (cue Anya singing) "It could be a bunnies!" Or just a big, fat fake out. Which will probably be the end of me and AoS.

I have not loved it as much as I wanted to up until now. If something firey and permanent does not happen to Ward...well, I'll be in a huff, at the very least.
