And I wonder, what possible catastrophe came crashing down from heaven and brought this dashing stranger to tears?

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

Yeah, it made no sense for Bucky's name to be something Skye would single out. Clumsy.

If she's spent a lot of time hanging out with Coulson on the Bus, maybe Skye recognized the name from him telling Captain America stories?

You were a wrong baby who grew up wrong. The wrong kind of wrong. It's better you hear it from a friend.

Maybe Quinn will end up being Evil Nick Fury.

"Hi, everybody!"
"Hi, Dr. Evil Nick!"

GS: If you had to choose between kicking evil in the head or the behind, which would you choose, and why? Minsc: I'm not sure I understand the question. I have two feet, do I not? You do not take a small plate when the feast of evil welcomes seconds.

I like that part of the Skye mystery. Also, I got lost, is she supposed to be a child that was born in China?

She was found in China. Not sure if she was born there.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

Chloe Bennet is half Chinese, so that could be a significant detail in terms of who Skye's parents were.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

mostly because he reminds me of Tamoh Penikett and I kept having to remember that it wasn't him.

THAT's who that was(n't)! Thank you.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Yeah, I had to do that "Tahmoh? No" mental dance all episode.

Skye's origin story reminds me of something and I don't know if I remember enough details to even ask for help figuring out where it came from. Frustrating!

At least it doesn't look like they're going in the "May is Skye's mother!" angle. Is May even old enough to be Skye's mother?

The actress is (I believe she just turned 50) but I don't know if the character is since an age hasn't been established.

ETA: And I'm glad they avoided the soap opera May is Skye's mother angle as well.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

They've never even hinted that that could be the case - wouldn't Coulson know if May had had a child?
