I feel (as someone with no background in the 'verse) like May is coasting on prior rep. It's only in the past episode that she's stood out with any kind of depth - and yea, not so much.
Craig Whoosit has been fab, but I don't see May sticking out from the rest who are just starting to establish their characters and build any reason to invest in them.
Further, damn, May. We've got a dude bouncing back and forth between dimensions and your response is, "Yeah, fuck that guy."
To be fair, he'd crashed her plane with her and her entire team onboard. I have no problem with May already deciding that he would be collateral damage at that point.
Right. But, if he is not actively fighting them, there's a decent chance the Fitz-Simmons could possibly deal with the phasing issue.
Jossverse thread description currently:
Discuss any and all new Joss Whedon projects here, including Dr. Horrible and Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.
It keeps making me think "Dr. Horrible and the Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D." is a show I could really get behind.
Dr. Horrible will totally crush on Simmons, but Ward will kill him if he tries anything.
I think that Dr. Horrible should crush on May. That would be way more interesting.
May wouldn't need to outsource the killing.
But if May was told that she couldn't kill Dr. Horrible, but he kept trying to impress her . . .
new episode tonight! with JAR!
I am now worried about Phil. Well done, show!
