I definitely saw the FitzSimmons UST and thought it was OK as long as it stays oost-y. I'll take that oost over Fitz being all oost-y towards Skye, which was what seemed to be happening before.

I'm so excited about that.
I admit my primary response to this episode was, "You can't do that with that plane!"
Do what, the hovering? There have been experimental jets that could take off and land vertically by tilting their engines to a vertical position, so that didn't bug me. On the first episode I was wondering why there were two engines on the tail of the plane--I figured maybe they were there to enable hovering (so the aircraft's center of gravity would be between the six engines).
But was I the only one who heard Wash threatening to "blow a new crater in this little moon," at that scene?

Nope. Not at all. That is exactly the image that came to my mind...and then the guy getting kicked into the engine. But that's just me.
By the way, what's wrong with FitzSimmons UST? I think they're cute together.

I think my perception filters must be off because I assumed that FitzSimmons was FitzSimmons from the minute they came on screen in the first episode.
That's with zero backstory. Maybe I'm just too keyed in to Ron and Hermoine.
I'm with Connie. I think they are cute together...perhaps made for each other.

An experimental jet (or an Osprey) is not a C-1-fricking-30. The plane they have is far too big for those kind of shenanigans.
... which, in a universe that contains a Helicarrier, is a ridiculous thing to bitch about. But there you have it.
As for Simmons and Fitz, I think a romance there is... well, too obvious. Also, they've been friends so long, it's not all that plausible for them now to become romantic--they kind of missed the window of possibility. Although yes, this is television and anything can happen.

I was going to say . . .
