Sorry Kevin, as much as I am bothered by Dollhouse, I do not find that brilliant. In fact I want to punch that guy's lights out.

Jossverse 1: Emotional Resonance & Rocket Launchers
TV, movies, web media--this thread is the home for any Joss projects that don't already have their own threads, such as Dr. Horrible.
Rather the opposite of brilliant here, too. I think ita should hire him as a tackle dummy, even if Dollhouse is never more than the Pretender with tits. Nothing like sour grapes mixed with vivid images of women being debased to bring out the Noel Coward in a guy.
I think I'm going to skip reading that one.
Was I not supposed to read that as a sarcastic twist on what the reviewer has seen so far?
That was the intent, yes. (To read it that way.)
Whoops, dropped keyboard...okay...one more once...
Yes, but I thought it aimed for the Onion and hit "My issues, let me show you them." I'm not sure that I could explain why. cause it's not like I'm Marge Simpson wishing for "satire that doesn't hurt,"
In fact I want to punch that guy's lights out.
Yeah, I'm confused. I didn't think it was especially funny, but I wasn't offended or angry. He was definitely being sarcastic.
They were sending up the show. And, uhm, Joss, albeit extremely meanly.
Hey, the Dollhouse DVR numbers are in and they don't suck. And the girl who plays Sierra listened to my podcast and now I'm terrified about what I said.
You said very very nice things about Dichen.
My mom said Sierra had a bad nosejob. She has a thing about pointing them out. we all enjoy TV in our own way, I guess. Feel better now? I don't know...though they hint a lot about the women's bodies on the show, I thought he took it to a very raw place...not to mention bragging about your writing skillz and writing "buttholes" But today has not been a great day.
